Lamb are fed antibiotics and hormones in the U.S. as it is the fastest way to get the animals to a larger size before they&#039;re no longer considered lambs (i.e. one year). You are correct about goats though. You might check out if lamb from New Zealand is hormone/anti-biotic free - I think it is.]]></description>
