Have been following your blog and messages all over the places. Have learned a lot, as I also have a HV20. Thx.

I am not sure what was your goal here, but you can do much better with Curves. Available in Photoshop and other packages, and applied in your video software.

Curves alone can’t do what I needed.

I like your blog, and I’ll hope can have a little of your knowledge… well brick by brick. So I’m buying a HV30, but I don’t know what computer buy, for edition, if you could helpme on that, I really apreciate. For the moment I know that need at least 3 gb ram, a lot of hard disk(maybe 500 gb), but the procesor and the video don’t know, I only need at least a computer to edit in hd of the canon HV30. Hope you can help me.

PD:My english is not very good. Thanks very much.

For the HV30, *any* modern PC will do as long as it has 2 GBs of RAM and a firewire card. You can buy such a PC for $500 at DELL (price is without a monitor). Buy Vegas Platinum 9 for $80.

Thanks for answer so fast, but the video card matter, has to be hd?, sorry for asking so much, but I wanna start filming a docu and a tv program, with no budget. Thanks again.

“Curves alone can’t do what I need…”

You should have a T-shirt printed up with this mantra. Love the blog, great work and info.

All the best,
