Review of the tripod-wheels Tiffen W3

Weeeeeeeee…….

Not very smooth I am afraid. Nothing beats a steadycam. But under certain conditions, this is an acceptable product. My review is here.

Mounting my camcorder on my kids thick rubber-wheeled threewheeler would have a much better effect than this! Garbage!

Well, it works if you use a flat, thick smooth carpet. And for indies, this is not a difficult accessory to get. Also, the wheels are useful for moving tripods from one studio to another.

So it definitely has its uses. Just not as a steady cam replacement.

I agree with that.
BTW, there is a typo in your review. Can’t remember which one (read it last night), but you should check it out.

Do you know the ModoSteady from Manfrotto? Have a look at my website http://www.thegadgetman.nl at the september 2007 gadget. I hope to test it soon!
