Diet Recipe: Fish Soup

Yup, you guessed it. A 200 calorie soup.

Ingredients (for 1)
* 100 grams of either sole, monkfish, plaice, cod or haddock fish (~90 cals)
* 95 grams whole potato (80 cals)
* 50 grams sliced carrots (15 cals)
* 1 chopped small onion (5 cals)
* 50 grams of chopped celery (5 cals)
* 1/3 cup lemon juice (5 cals)
* Black pepper

Execution
1. Peel and wash the potato. Cut it in half (this will produce a ready-to-cook potato of 85grams).
2. In a pan add two cups of water and boil the potatoes, onion, celery & carrots.
3. A few minutes before the potatoes are fully cooked, remove from heat.
4. With a tablespoon take out the two potato halves and place them in a blender. Blend them.
5. Put the potato mash back to the pan and stir. Put back the pan in the heat to boil.
6. By now the pan should have less than 1 cup of water left in it, so add the lemon juice.
7. Cut the fish in small-ish pieces. Add it in the pan and boil all items together for another minute.
8. Add pepper and stir once more. Serve hot.

Tip 1: If you can’t deal with the bitterness of lemons, use 1 tablespoon of salsa instead.
Tip 2: You can choose to not blend the potatoes. In that case, cut the potatoes in small cubes.
