JBQ in the shower

In early evening there’s this amazing golden light that would enter the bathroom from the small window in my mom’s home in Greece. JBQ’s shadow looked beautiful, I had to snap it away to capture the moment. He had just come back from swimming in the sea.

So schizophrenic… as I’m reading your post, I’m listening to the news on the radio: with the decision to move to a referendum, Greece has chosen the path of bankrupcy and total collapse. The exact words were: Greece is on fire, and the ‘firemen’ have decided not to fight the fire, but to ask the inhabitants what to do…
On the other hand, taking a swim in the evening sun seems so surreal, it’s like the orchestra that continues to play while the Titanic was sinking, I guess?
The swim (and this picture) took place in August, not now, so this comment is off topic I’m afraid. But to answer your question, Greece is screwed no matter what happens, so it doesn’t really matter. Let’s keep away from politics though, I just love this picture too much to have it dirtied with politics.
