Daredevil: One of the best Marvel movies

Usually, I am in agreement with IMDb reader’s ratings on movies. However, I think that Daredevil should have had at least a 7/10. I don’t know why people didn’t particularly like it, because the story was faithful to the actual comic, and it had funny dialog and nice action. Sure, people prefer different things, but I think that the Daredevil is one of the best Marvel Comics adaptations on the big screen and apparently the Director’s Cut is much better (20 more minutes of footage).

The Kingpin isn’t black, and the movie kind of sucked.
So what if the Kingpin is not black in the comics? The actor who played Kingpin was the right choice, not only because of his body structure, but because he felt like Kingpin.
And as for the movie sucking, I don’t agree. I think it was a very carefully prepared movie, bringing all Daredevil elements into play.
Oh! I got it! It’s the one with the green lollipops talking…
…but seriously… Daredevil is just sad to watch… just sad as Elektra AND Ghostrider… Why this guy keeps directing?!
And by the way… The problem with the Kingpin is not his colour in the movie… it’s he looking like a comedy sitcom character; and not a sadic, evil bastard that worked hard to get where he is without think twice or caring about the consequences… And Daredevil… well, he looks like Ben A., not Matt Murdock… (somehow, a cousin of Kingpin, comedian in the blood) there’s no need to get in details here, it’s plain clear.
Elektra… well, there’s not too much to talk about her… she’s just bad… like a model, not an actress. but lets not make her the target here, Bullseye was the worst of all, he looks like the stupidest one-shot evil guy in a He-man morning cartoon…
I’m yet to see the director’s cut of the movie… yet even if it’s probably not worth watching… Anyway, 20 extra mins can’t save this piece of…
…crap…..
I don’t like Electra or Ghost Rider, but I think that the director put his soul on Daredevil. When I watch it, that’s what I get from it.
>it’s he looking like a comedy sitcom character
I disagree. I think the role was spot on.
Another movie I like a lot that most people seem to not like a lot is the new version of “The Flight of the Phoenix”.
I didn’t like Bullseye too much btw, he was over the top.
Michael Clarke Duncan is the big guy in every movie. He was in The Green Mile and The Whole Nine Yards. It’s hard to see him as eveil after those two acting roles. I forgot how bad the Bullseye chacter was. But if you like it, it’s okay.
No flame wars here, just a difference of opinion.
