That will teach me…

“The world’s first commercially viable quantum computer was unveiled and demonstrated today in Silicon Valley…”
Damn it. I just realized that I had an invite from the Computer History Museum to attend and report on this historic event showcasing the first Quantum computer, but I was not reading their emails through for the last few weeks. That will teach me to read their announcements in full in the future.

I hate that. I was invited to something less historic and not computer related, but still really fun. I totally missed out because I didn’t check one of my e-mail accounts for about 8 days.
Apparently D-Wave has a demo at their HQ too in a few days, but that’s in Canada and I can’t easily leave USA right now because of visa issues.
Ah, the tar pit of bureaucracy. Is there anything it can’t do ?
