PS3 camping violence

How more stupid people can get? Camping and getting violent over a gaming console. Why? What’s the point? Why not wait until shop owners have more units to sell? In fact, waiting for next year is likely to get you a console with fewer hardware bugs and problems.
This also reminds me of some kids that were murdered in the ’90s for their “Air Jordan” shoes. People’s stupidity at its max, right there.

I think the dumbest one in my lifetime was the Cabbage Patch kids (I think it was the 80’s). They were the ugliest looking things, but parents had been convinced that kids couldn’t live without them. It was pretty messy.
Well, two things:
1. For a lot of people, it’s fun to be the first on the block with the new toy. Everyone wants to come over to your place, etc.
2. I bet you that more than half of them are selling them on eBay. $800 profit for a day or two of sitting around is pretty good money for a college kid. (Heck, better money than most people earn! I remember my friend waiting for a 360 for 20 hours. He didn’t sell it, but if he had for the about-$600-on-average profit, it would have been about $30/hour, tax-free. Considering in many places the average salary is $35k/year, that’s not bad.)
Sounds like a fitting theme for a new Southpark scenario
