Your blog is getting boring… all these wacky, abstruse and what “you” view as “creative” collages are mind-numbing.

What happened to the good ol’ days of you reviewing cameras, software, hardware and making well-informed suggestions to novice film makers…?

There’s not much to say about all that anymore. They are a commodity now. You just get a dSLR (ANY dSLR with manual control and 24p), follow a few tutorials already around, and you’re set. On the low end of things, on digicams, Canon abandoned their good streak of innovation on video, and the rest never caught up either (primarily regarding color control and bitrate), so that front is dead, nothing new to report.
