  • I found lots of bugs on Vegas Pro 9. I really hate using buggy software. #

My family never had sheep or other animals, smart ass. So get your facts right before you troll on my personal blog and you publicly insult me.

That wasn’t a joke. That’s an insult for most Greeks. And from what I know so far, it’s the same here.

Troubles with Vegas 9-Pro? What is the short list of worst bugs? Would you rate it more, less, or about equally buggy with Premier, FCP, or others? What hangs or fails do you encounter most? Do some defy diagnosis and quick fixes? Or are the workarounds very difficult?

What happens if you load its timeline with 1920×1080 60p video in MOV h.264 (Canon EOS 5D MII stuff)? Does the PC collapse? How much CPU or GPU needed?

Or is all your video in 1280×720 30p QT at 4mbps, pre-digested for Vimeo?

Vegas can’t handle 5D-MII files as is, and it crashes with most h.264 files too anyway. That’s why people buy Cineform NeoSCENE, so they can edit it in real time.

WTF are you talking about? I use an HDV camera. The format you are describing is how I export, not how I edit!
