One of the Lost’s creators, Damon Lindelof, wrote a guest editorial for New York Times. He claims that television is dying, new mediums are taking over, and that the writers must have a clearly defined share in this new reality.
On other news, NBC fired 102 workers of “The Office”, because the 5-6 writers of the show were on strike. While the writers on strike will be paid residuals from the reruns, the fired workers won’t be paid anything.

If they aren’t making shows, and making money, then there is no other choice.
