Wiiiiiiiii

My JBQ waited for 2 hours in line outside of BestBuy today, 15th in line, but the Nintendo Wii was sold out by the 12th person in line. Sucks. Nintendo really underestimated their own product by pricing it at $250. Not only they created this artificial shortage because the price was too low compared to what the market was willing to pay for their product, but their company lost millions of dollars. I hope they fire their marketing chief.

I’ve occasionally seen ‘em pop up around here. I take it that this means I should grab one if I see one? (Not massively likely, but never hurts to have another pair of eyes…) ;)

I stopped by Circuit City about 90 minutes before they opened, and there were already 22 people in line. I passed. I’m starting to seriously lose interest. Someone at Nintendo seriously stepped on their crank.

Billy, yes, please buy us one if you see it in a shop. If JBQ finds one in the future I will immediately email you so you will know to not look for one anymore. Thanks!

I got my Wii by routinely checking the forum on the Wii’s page on Amazon. Back when I was doing that, the forum was incredibly active and people were posting updates about where on the Internet and offline the Wii was going on sale. I got mine online through Toys R Us after someone posted about it there. Good luck with your search!
