Medical dramas suck balls

Ok, this is a serious question: why do people (mostly women) watch medical dramas?

Except “House” (in which I am only interested in his personal story and sarcastic humor rather than the actual medical story), I can’t stand not even 1 minute of the other 3 medical dramas currently on TV. How can people watch that boring crap? I mean, do I really want to watch how this episode’s patient has an operation while at the same time the doctor is humping the nurse without his also-doctor wife knowing? What kind of shit is all that?

I don’t know which dramas your are referring to as we have different one’s running here in Finland. I’m not a huge fan of medical drama but some series have got the characters right as well. Grey’s anatomy is one example.

You either relate or not.

By the way..I don’t follow Lost at all..:)

One of the dramas I was referring to was “Grey’s Anatomy” indeed. It _sucks_ IMO. So goes ER and Crossing Jordan.

I mean, the whole thing about doctors and nurses and their love stories… who cares? Who cares if that doctor from Grey’s Anatomy wants to sleep with both doctors? I find absolutely nothing interesting in this show.

I prefer real life forensic shows such as Forensic Files.
