Hacker fears ‘UFO cover-up’

“In 2002, Gary McKinnon was arrested by the UK’s national high-tech crime unit, after being accused of hacking into Nasa and the US military computer networks. He says he spent two years looking for photographic evidence of alien spacecraft and advanced power technology.” Read more at BBC.co.uk.

Let’s assume for a minute that what this guy and other conspiracy-theory wackos say is real and that there are aliens visiting this world and that USA is supressing this information from the public. I keep wondering that if this is indeed the case, have all these accusers stopped for a second and thought WHY would such information kept secret in the first place? Have they sit down and think that maybe the US military is right for suppressing this information?

No, it’s not just about fearing of “changing the world’s focus and the consumer’s habits” should such information revealed. It’s deeper than that. IF all the alien theories are real and abductions are real, then we are at COLD WAR. And if this is the case, then USA simply tries to protect us from this war. Aliens so far have tried to make as little damage as possible with their abductions, masking the memories of the abductees so they can continue live a normal life. But if this information made public, not only chaos and fear would fill up the planet, but aliens won’t have a reason anymore to protect individuals from the psychological problems they would get from such abductions. The secret would be out in the open. More over, if the US Army says “yes, we have 2-3 captured UFOs underground and we have reversed engineered them”, it is one more reason for the aliens to move from the Cold War mode to real war because of fear that the US Army sooner or later will retaliate against them full force with advanced technology. And THAT would be chaotic then.

Therefore, it makes more sense to keep the secret as long as possible from the public (and mask the extennd of US’ knowledge from the aliens themeselves), and keep all your technological advancements under closed doors. That would be the best strategic movement for now until we have the right technology to fight back. If I was a high ranking military person and all of that alien/abductions scenarios were real, I would have taken the exact same decision that US has allegedly taken so far.

And people who claim all these conspiracy theories and try to extrapolate as much information as possible are making a huge disservice to the human kind, because they can’t see the (even) bigger picture. I am sick and tired reading how the US military is evil. The US military is consisted by people like you and me, and they have families themeselves. And more over, they have all the facts in the table that help them make the decisions they make. So why would I join the conspiracy theory wacko camp and not trust the military which has actually has sworn in to protect US (and the whole world, at this level we are talking about here).
