“Wonderful Feeling” beautiful lyrics
People who know me well they know that I love Eurodance… I grew up with that crap. My brother used to be a DJ on our local club when he was just 15 or 16, in Preveza, Greece and I was kinda his guardian angel making sure that he wouldn’t get into “bad circles” while he was working there in this sensitive age (I am 5 years older). Back then, in 1993-95, Eurodance was really big in Europe (and Japan, for some weird reason). So, listening to Eurodance brings me so many memories from my youth there, going out with my friends and having some really good time.
Here’s a eurodance song that I love, it’s based on an old Barbra Streisand song (originally from the Oliver Twist musical). It’s by “2 Brothers On The 4th Floor” and it’s called “Wonderful Feeling”. Beautiful lyrics:
Who will buy this wonderful feeling?I’m so high I swear I could fly
Me oh my, I don’t want to lose it
So what am I to do, to keep the sky so blue
There must be someone who will buy
Who will buy this wonderful feeling?I’m so high I swear I could fly
Me oh my, I don’t want to lose it
There must be someone who will buy.
Who will buy this wonderful morning?
Such a sky you never did see
Who will tie it up with a ribbon,
and put it in a box for me?
Who will buy my sweet red roses,Two blooms for a penny?
Who will buy my sweet red roses,
Two blooms for a pence?
Who will buy the smell of flowerswaving in the moonlit breeze?
Who will buy the childrens’ laughter
happily playing in the streets
Who will buy the heat of sun that’s
shining in the deep blue sea?
Who will buy this wonderful feeling?
No one, ’cause it’s all for free.
